Job Description
We are looking for a
skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant & Phlebotomist
to join our busy, patient-focused clinical team. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality care, have strong phlebotomy skills, and want to support patients on their health journey, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll Do:
Perform
safe and accurate blood collection (venepuncture)
for a range of diagnostic tests, includingvitamin, hormone, STD, and organ health screenings
. Ensure samples are processed and sent to laboratories in line with clinical protocols. Support patients duringgeneral consultations
, providing clear explanations of test procedures and results. Carry outblood pressure checks, weight monitoring, and other basic health assessments
. Offer patientspractical health advice and support
, referring them to other healthcare professionals when needed. Maintain accurate records and uphold thehighest standards of infection control, patient confidentiality, and clinical safety
.About You:
Qualified in phlebotomy
with hands-on venepuncture experience. Previous experience in ahealthcare assistant, phlebotomy, or similar clinical role
. Excellentcommunication skills
- able to explain medical information clearly and supportively.Organised and proactive
, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment. Committed todelivering patient-centred care

Pay: 13.55-20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 - 37 per week
