Experience:

Excellent knowledge of the Phonics phases (Letters & Sounds, RWI or similar) and KS1 National Curriculum Deliver online phonics-based reading lessons, KS1 maths and English sessions using interactive and engaging methods Highly skilled in teaching children aged 4-7 in an online setting Confidence in managing online behaviour and sustaining attention across 30 - 60 minute sessions Desirable - Knowledge of the 7 plus curriculum

Education:

Degree holder, A Level (Min Grade 7) or IB English Higher Level (Min Grade 6) or equivalent qualification

Licence:

Qualified Teacher (preferred but not essential), Enhanced DBS (essential) Payment for DBS application will be refunded following 12 weeks' teaching.

Roles and responsibilities:

Plan, resource and deliver engaging phonics, English comprehension, creative writing, GPS and maths sessions to small groups of pupils or 1:1

Adapt teaching to meet individual needs within groups

Provide challenge and support as required

Teach and assess pupils giving timely feedback

Record outcomes for each child at the end of each session - online

Maintain effective communication with children, parents and the admin team via the feedback document provided

Recruitment is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
