This is an office-based role in Spennymoor, County Durham that occasionally requires you to travel around the country. Please only apply if you can reliably commute to our offices and are happy to be away for around 5 days every month.

Photographer/Videographer

to join our team based in Spennymoor, Durham.

You'll be instrumental in showcasing our superior craftsmanship and innovative designs, from stunning finished sauna and steam room installations to informative educational content. If you have an eye for detail, a proactive mindset, and a strong ability to produce high-quality visual content, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:



Content Creation:

Responsible for the end-to-end process in the creation of short and long-form content to be posted on our website, YouTube, and across social media platforms. Photograph and film on location at our completed sauna installations, capturing the quality, design, and atmosphere of each unique project. Photograph and film within our studio and premises. Photograph and film at Sauna Events for promotion.

Post-Production:

Edit images and videos to a professional, high-quality standard, ensuring they are ready for use by our marketing team across various platforms.

Educational Content:

Plan/storyboard, direct, film, and edit educational "how-to" guides and video tutorials that explain best practices for designing, building, maintaining, and operating a sauna/steam room.

Proactive Content Sourcing:

Maintain a curious and proactive mindset to identify and capture interesting content opportunities within the business, such as behind-the-scenes moments and interviews, for use across our social media channels.

File Management:

Maintain excellent file management and backup systems for all master files, project files, and final edits, ensuring all content is logically organised and easily accessible.

Time Management:

Effectively manage your time to deliver projects on schedule and prioritise your workload based on the value and needs of the wider team and our customers.

Industry awareness:

Keep abreast of emerging trends in visual media across different platforms to inform fresh ideas and remain relevant as a brand. Learn about emerging tools & technologies in content creation to improve quality and efficiency. Collaborate with the in-house marketing team to understand our target users within our industry.

Stewardship of Equipment:

Ensure the safety, security and maintenance of the photography and videography equipment. Make a case for acquiring particular equipment or software that will help improve quality and efficiency.

Requirements:



Proven experience as a photographer and videographer with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. High proficiency with professional photography and video equipment. Proficiency in video and image editing software - predominantly in Adobe Creative Cloud software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop). A strong understanding of visual storytelling and an eye for composition, lighting, and detail. Excellent organisational and time management skills. A proactive and curious attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Understanding of visual brand identity and the ability to implement this into your work. Proficiency with audio recording and editing for video content. An interest in new tools and technologies for streamlining your workflow, implementing current and emerging AI tools where deemed appropriate. Based within commuting distance of Spennymoor, County Durham and available to work from our HQ 5 days a week. Happy to travel to previous and ongoing sauna installations and events from time to time to capture content. Excellent professionalism and strong communication skills. You must be comfortable with the customer-facing aspect of the role when visiting our installations. A DBS check will be carried out for this position. UK Full Driver's license. Comfortable in a dog-friendly office. Genuinely interested in the wellness industry.
