Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.

- Provide knowledgeable advice on products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.

- Engage in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities while ensuring customer needs are met.

- Maintain an organised and tidy sales floor, ensuring all merchandise is displayed attractively.

- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.

- Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, including cash handling and basic maths skills.

- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.

- Stay informed about product knowledge, promotions, and store policies to effectively assist customers.

Qualifications

- Previous retail experience is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer calls professionally.

- A proactive approach to selling with an aptitude for upselling products based on customer needs.

- Basic maths skills for processing transactions accurately.

- A friendly demeanour and a genuine interest in helping customers find what they need.

Skills



Knowledge in photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom) is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail to ensure high-quality results in all photographic work. Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends when necessary.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 7.50-12.21 per hour
