Mid Level PHP Developer _

Employment: Permanent, full-time, hybrid after settling in (core hours: 9:30 am - 2:00 pm)*

Crown Oil is seeking a talented and motivated mid-level PHP Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing and implementing innovative web applications that enhance our customer experience and streamline our business processes. As a mid-level developer, you will collaborate with senior developers and other team members to create robust solutions using PHP, Laravel, React, MySQL, and nginx.

Our ideal candidate is not only proficient in coding but also possesses strong problem-solving abilities and a keen understanding of web application architecture. You will work on various projects, assisting in all phases of the development lifecycle, from requirement gathering and analysis to deployment and maintenance. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using PHP, Laravel, and React. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and analyse technical requirements. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best coding practices. Debug and resolve application issues in a timely manner to ensure quality performance. Design, implement, and optimise MySQL database schemas to support application functionality. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following established frameworks and guidelines. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve development processes.

Requirements

Proven experience as a PHP Developer with a strong understanding of PHP frameworks, particularly Laravel. Proficiency in front-end technologies such as React to create dynamic user experiences. Solid knowledge of MySQL and database design principles. Experience with nginx web server configuration and performance optimisation. Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
