Job Description
A talented PHP Engineer is urgently required once a month to attend my client\'s London HQ. They are a thriving and innovative start-up at the forefront of cutting-edge technology. They are on a mission to continue to build scalable, robust, and future-proof solutions.
The PHP Engineer will have a burning desire to focus on platform engineering and microservices architecture and thrive in challenging environments where the emphasis will be on future proofing the architecture as my client transition over to Golang.
- Proven experience in PHP development with a focus on building microservices and platform components.
- Familiarity with modern PHP frameworks (Yii).
- Build and optimise platform components to enhance our enterprise solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient PHP code.
- Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and performance optimization.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and related technologies.
- Proficiency in database design and SQL.
- Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Any exposure or willingness to gain Golang experience is highly desirable.
