About the Role



Supply Today is seeking an energetic and motivated Physical Education Teacher to join a supportive secondary school. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about sport, fitness, and developing pupils' physical and social skills through engaging lessons and extracurricular activities.

Key Responsibilities



Plan and deliver PE lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable) Promote health, fitness, teamwork, and a positive attitude to physical activity Organise and lead extracurricular sports clubs and activities Monitor and report on pupil progress in line with school policies Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment both indoors and outdoors Uphold safeguarding and compliance requirements at all times

Requirements



Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education and Sport Previous teaching experience in a UK secondary school is desirable Excellent classroom management and communication skills Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (required) Must meet all compliance requirements for working in schools
