Physical Education Teacher
Job Description
The Seeds School is looking for an experienced teacher to join a friendly team in a mixed SEND School providing support for 14-16-year-old students.
The Seeds School is an Independent School aimed at supporting students with a primary need of SEMH at Key Stage 4.
You will be responsible for the delivery of multiple subjects with a focus on Physical Education. Alongside supporting other tutors with the embedding of English, Maths and ICT.. You must be able to instil enthusiasm and enjoyment into the learning process in such a way that can lead to increased self-esteem and enhanced engagement in learning.
Applicants for this post must have experience of working with young and vulnerable people with special needs, challenging behaviours and mental health difficulties.
Salary scale advertised covers unqualified teachers also, with a view to the school funding their teaching qualification as part of the salary offer. Those already qualified will receive the top end salary advertised based on qualifications and experience.
Applicants must have a professional approach, be flexible and able to work alongside students engaged in vocational settings, as well as in a classroom environment.
