Job Title: Physical Security Specialist, Global Security Operations
Location: Central London, UK (Hybrid working at Managers Discretion)
Hours: 40 hours per week - (Monday-Friday)
Salary: xc2xa360,000 p.a (pro rata) + xc2xa33,000 maximum bonus (dependent on performance)
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled, dedicated dynamic and well-rounded professional with proven professional expertise to be working for an established Corporate Security Team within a world class tech gaming organisation. They will be responsible for leading and managing the physical security operations mission, ensuring the safety and security of our facilities, assets, and personnel across the EMEA region. This role reports within line management of Director of Global Security Operations.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct physical security assessments, audits, surveys and process reviews, following up on delivery of any recommendations.
  • Oversight and evaluation of technical, people and procedures to establish security posture and culture at sites. Working collaboratively with on-site staff, cross-functional business areas, and external contractors to develop coordinated projects/programmes.
  • Respond, lead, and review security incidents / situations; co-ordinating response, briefing & escalating appropriately. Support investigations with evidence gathering and presenting reports to stakeholders.
  • Supporting Corporate Security Team, as point of contact in an emergency or critical circumstance. Assist where needed in actioning emergency response plans for a breadth of security situations.
  • Brief & embed with employees security protocols and emergency response procedures ensuring a safe and secure culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and standards, reviewing and updating policies and procedures as required.
  • Assist in the development of emergency preparedness plans, delivering testing and exercises to build local resilience.
  • Liaise and develop vendor services to support security delivery, ensuring performance and quality of services adhere to
  • Assess / advise on related leadership safety & security.
  • Provide advice, assessment, and inspection to identify security risks for internal or external PlayStation events. Travel and handle event security operation on-location. Assessing requirements and arranging appropriate executive protection.
  • Information sharing with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed to protect our sites and staff.
  • To undertake projects, initiatives and tasks within Corporate Security as required to respond to business needs.
Qualifications:
  • Professional qualification/certification related to Physical Security Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in physical security management; also emergency preparedness desirable.
  • Recent working experience in a corporate, governmental, military or emergency service environment.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of security systems technologies and their integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Highly motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with security operations in a corporate environment.
  • Experience in planning and executing security at large scale events desirable.
  • Familiarity with local and international security regulations across EMEA
  • Proficiency in using security software and tools. Efficient capability with MS packages.
Working Conditions:
  • This position requires the candidate to be flexible with work schedules and to be able to undertake pre-planned travel across the EMEA region (up to 20%). Travel and reasonable expenses will be refunded. Travel will be economy/standard class.
  • After initial training/introduction, hybrid working will be permissible.
  • Bonus payment of up to 5% dependent on satisfactory performance paid annually.
  • Office situated in Soho, London. Free meals & drinks are provided, with bar, gym, social facilities on-site.
