We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Associate to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care across various settings, including hospice care, home care, and nursing homes. This position requires a strong understanding of anatomy, public health, and clinical practices to ensure optimal health outcomes for our patients.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop appropriate care plans.
Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated patient care.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
Engage in clinical research to enhance the quality of care provided.
Utilise medical imaging techniques as necessary for diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Participate in community health initiatives to promote public health awareness.
Requirements
Relevant qualifications in Physician Associate studies or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
Experience in hospice care, home care, or nursing home settings is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability in patient care with a focus on senior care.
Proficiency in medication administration and familiarity with medical imaging procedures.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
