Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with others in a healthcare setting, or has an interest in working in a healthcare setting.

The role includes being a chaperone, and because of this we are seeking only female applicants.

The role may also include administrative/ reception work as required.

The role also includes Saturday work which could be shared with job-share.

Duties

To act as a chaperone within the clinic, namely for female clients seen by male clinicians, or for children, Women's Health and Men's Health clients To work alongside Clinicians regarding clinical note taking and report writing Participate in cleaning clinic: gym equipment, floors, sinks and toilet areas To check clinical plinths and gym equipment regarding maintenance and safety To work with Practice Manager, admin and clinicians regarding stock inventory and ordering To liaise with clinical and admin team regarding tasks. To assist in administration/ reception tasks as required.

Requirements

experience of working in a healthcare or school/ similar setting or have plans to work/ study in healthcare/ Physiotherapy knowledge of safeguarding, consent and confidentiality or a willingness to undertake governance training on areas such as consent, confidentiality and safeguarding. a willingness to learn theoretical & practical knowledge of therapy procedures IT experience eg Word, online forms
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.85 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
