Experienced Self-Employed Physiotherapist

Location: Move Freely Sports Therapy, Edinburgh

Contract Type: Self-employed

Minimum Experience: 2 years (private practice essential)

About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced, self-sufficient physiotherapist with a strong background in private practice (minimum 2 years). You must have excellent hands-on skills, particularly in treating spinal and lower back conditions, and the ability to deliver structured rehab plans that lead to long-term patient results.

The ideal candidate will be confident managing their own diary, handling rebookings, and maintaining clear communication with patients. You should be proactive, personable, and able to ethically build and retain a busy caseload in a high-quality clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide hands-on musculoskeletal physiotherapy, with a focus on spinal conditions Deliver clear, progressive rehab plans tailored to individual patient goals Manage your own admin: patient communication, bookings, clinical notes Maintain strong relationships with patients through effective communication and education Take part in our in-house CPD sessions and contribute to ongoing clinical development
What You'll Bring:

HCPC registration (CSP membership preferred) Minimum 2 years' experience in a private MSK setting Strong manual therapy and exercise prescription skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities High levels of professionalism, reliability, and patient-centred care Confidence in managing your own caseload and diary A commitment to ethical practice and evidence-based treatment
