We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with a focus on delivering high-quality physiotherapy services. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with various physical conditions, ensuring their rehabilitation and recovery. A special interest or experience in paediatrics is highly desirable. We are a community driven practice. This role is planned to progress to a full-time role over the next 12-months.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical condition and needs.
Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
Provide hands-on physiotherapy treatments, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and self-management strategies.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with medical standards and regulations.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in physiotherapy practices.
Mentor physiotherapy students, assistances and new members of staff.
Requirements
A recognised degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification. 2 years post graduate experience.
Registration with the relevant professional regulatory body (HCPC and CSP required)/
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
MSK and Neuro Physiotherapy knowledge and experience.
Willing to travel to home visits in local area using own vehicle or public transport
Experience in paediatrics and women's health is an advantage but not essential; willingness to learn is crucial.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
A compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
