We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physiotherapist to join the team in our Ipswich clinic. The Physiotherapist will assess, plan, and implement rehabilitation programs to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities. The ideal candidate is dedicated to patient-centered care and committed to promoting wellness and functional independence.
Responsibilities
Assess patients' physical abilities and needs through clinical evaluation, medical history, and diagnostic tests.
Develop individualized treatment plans and rehabilitation goals in collaboration with patients and other healthcare professionals.
Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions (e.g., manual therapy, exercise prescription, modalities, education).
Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Educate patients and their families on exercises, self-management strategies, and injury prevention.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Stay informed of advances in physiotherapy practice through continuing education and professional development.
Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming clinical environment.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent).
Valid professional license/registration to practice as a Physiotherapist in the UK - HCPC/CSP (indemnity insurance/DBS).
Proven clinical experience in physiotherapy.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Empathetic and patient-centered approach to care.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
