We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team working as Locum / Self Employed Role. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing personalised treatment programmes to improve patients' mobility and overall well-being. Duties
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and functional ability
Develop personalised treatment plans based on physiological principles and patient needs
Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to aid recovery
Monitor and document patient progress accurately in accordance with medical terminology standards
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes
Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and lifestyle modifications
Assist in the organisation of specialised programmes such as paediatric physiotherapy or post-operative care when required
Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
Skills
Proven experience working within hospital settings is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to rehabilitation processes
Familiarity with medical terminology used in clinical documentation and communication
Experience working with paediatric patients is advantageous but not essential
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to motivate and support individuals through their recovery journey
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
Effective communication skills for liaising with healthcare professionals, patients, and families
A recognised qualification in physiotherapy recognised by relevant professional bodies
