Job Summary:
This is a part-time on-site role for a Physiotherapist in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Physiotherapist will be responsible for providing physical therapy services to patients, developing treatment plans, documenting patient progress, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. This role requires a licensed professional who is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and has a strong commitment to patient care and rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, including their mobility, strength, and range of motion.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patients' diagnoses, using techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and electrotherapy.
Work with patients to restore and improve their physical abilities, providing support and guidance through various stages of rehabilitation.
Educate patients on exercises, lifestyle changes, and home treatment programs to support ongoing recovery and health.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and outcome measures.
Ensure that all treatments and practices comply with professional standards, guidelines, and ethical considerations as outlined by the HCPC.
Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in physiotherapy through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
License:
Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Physiotherapist.
Experience:
Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not essential for newly qualified candidates.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Empathy and a patient-centered approach to care.
