Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our multi-disciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience in private settings and a passion for helping individuals regain their mobility and improve their quality of life. This role involves assessing, planning, and implementing physiotherapy interventions tailored to the needs of patients, including those in the post op setting (eg hand therapy after carpal tunnel syrgery).

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities. Develop and implement personalised treatment plans based on individual patient needs and goals. Utilise various therapeutic techniques and modalities to enhance recovery and rehabilitation. Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercise programmes, and self-management strategies. Maintain accurate patient records, documenting progress and outcomes of therapy sessions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Stay updated with advancements in physiotherapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

Relevant degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution. Proven experience in a hospital environment is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is essential. Experience working with private patients is an advantage. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to demonstrate empathy and provide high-quality patient care. Registration with the relevant professional body is required.
