Job Description
Hospice in the Weald is recruiting for an exceptional
Physiotherapist
to join the therapies team on a12-month 30 hour weekly fixed term contract
to cover sabbatical leave. Working with the Lead Physiotherapist and therapy assistant practitioner to enable patients to identify their goals and facilitate achieving these alongside managing their symptoms at the end of life.You will provide an effective Physiotherapy support for all Hospice in the Weald services to deliver a high standard of holistic care to patients in individual Hospice Appointments and group settings. This will include breathlessness management, mobility assessments, gym and exercise classes.
You must have recent relevant clinical experience with a sound understanding of the needs of patients nearing the end of life, and their families.
