Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced, second physiotherapist to work in our outstanding nursing home. You will need to be a UK resident with the right to work in the UK. We do not offer sponsorship for overseas staff. Caring for up to 35 residents with a variety of frailties, we provide an exceptional level of care to both elderly residents and some under 60's. We pride ourselves in offering an enhanced care service which includes nursing, holistic therapies and believe that physiotherapy is an intrinsic part of the care we offer.

The successful candidate will:

be working on a flexible basis, 2 or 3 mornings or afternoons per week out of five, caring for people with a variety of physical and / or psychological frailties. have a caring nature, excellent communication skills, take pride in your work and strive to achieve positive outcomes for our residents. be involved in assessing clients and completing safe systems of work assessments in relation to moving and handling. develop and maintain exercise programs associated with clients needs; chest physio; moving and handling advice; guidance and support to staff, volunteers and clients. assess, review and identify suitable equipment and associated requirements. be a qualified, registered physiotherapist with the right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship)
Due to our semi-rural location you will require transport to and from work.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 24.00-26.00 per hour
