Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Physiotherapist to join our Pharmacy Team. The individual will have an understanding of business and be prepared to help their sector of the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to self-manage your diary and patients in a modern and established pharmacy with over 5,000 registered patients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments or disabilities. This role requires a strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology, as well as a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Experience in paediatrics is advantageous but not essential.

Duties

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual patient needs. Utilise various therapeutic techniques and modalities to promote recovery and improve mobility. Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and preventative measures. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies. Stay updated on the latest developments in physiotherapy practices and medical knowledge.

Qualifications

A degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification recognised by the relevant professional body. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology. Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and empathy. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Experience or interest in paediatrics is a plus but not mandatory.
