We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments or disabilities. This position requires a strong foundation in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology, along with a passion for patient care. Experience in paediatrics is advantageous but not essential.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical condition and needs.
Develop personalised treatment plans aimed at improving patients' mobility and quality of life.
Implement therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to aid recovery.
Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes and self-care strategies.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with hospital protocols.
Stay updated on the latest developments in physiotherapy practices and techniques.
Experience
A degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification is essential.
Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology is required.
Experience working in a hospital setting is preferred, particularly with paediatric patients.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding of individual needs.
