We are seeking a dedicated and skilled therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, treating and rehabilitating clients for injuries or conditions. This position requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to provide compassionate patient care. The therapist will work closely with patients of all ages, including paediatrics, to develop tailored rehabilitation programmes that promote recovery and enhance mobility.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical condition and needs.
Develop and implement personalised treatment plans based on individual patient assessments.
Utilise various therapeutic techniques and modalities to facilitate recovery and improve physical function.
Educate patients about treatment options, exercises, and self-care strategies.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress in compliance with medical standards.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in physiotherapy practices and medical terminology.
Skills
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to physiotherapy practice.
Experience working in a clinical setting is preferred but not essential.
Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.
Ability to demonstrate empathy and provide high-quality patient care.
Good organisational skills to manage multiple patients and treatment plans effectively.
