Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic Physiotherapy Senior Support Worker to join our Physiotherapy Inpatient Medical and Respiratory team. You will manage a caseload of patients requiring Physiotherapy interventions utilising shared skills where appropriate on the Medical Wards. With support from senior staff, you will be responsible for the supervision of Physiotherapy Assistants within the team.



The successful candidate will undertake role specific training linked to a competency framework. Weekend working will be included following a period of induction and once an appropriate level of competency is reached.



We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills and an empathetic nature who is also organised and able to use their initiative. The ability to work flexibly and as part of a team is essential in order to provide an efficient and effective service. You will have experience as a Therapy Assistant or Technical Instructor or the ability to demonstrate relevant and transferrable experience to an equivalent level.



Additionally, you will be able to evidence your continued learning and self-development in your current role .
