Job Description

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, well motivated individual who is able to demonstrate an interest in patient rehabilitation, into this Physiotherapy Support Worker role.



The main qualities we are looking for include being caring and kind- in addition to being well organised and using own initiative.



This post will be based on the medicine wards within Cardiff & Vale, which could be either at University Hospital Wales, University Hospital Llandough or St. David's Hospital.



This is for bank work only, predominantly Monday-Friday, to cover vacancies.



The post holder will work as part of a large team of physiotherapists and support workers providing physiotherapy to predominantly frail older people. The job responsibilities will include supervision of exercises and activities of daily living including some aspects of personal care. There will also be some administrative duties as part of the role.

There will be a full induction and training programme to support you in this role.



The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
