CentreStage is seeking enthusiastic and skilled piano players to join our team, supporting our wide range of community music theatre and singing activities, working with participants of all ages and abilities.

For nearly two decades, CentreStage has been a nurturing home for emerging accompanists, musical directors and creatives. Many young musicians who started with us have gone on to achieve exceptional success across education, theatre and the wider creative industries -- and we remain committed to supporting the next generation.

Duties and responsibilities



Planning, delivering and leading classes in the Creative Learning Department, including pre-school, P1-S6 Musical Theatre, Adult Musical Theatre, Actors classes, choirs and ASN classes, which may include leading as a musician.

Delivering across the range of weekly activities, including Reach Out, Musical Generations and Gie it Laldy.

Effectively contributing to the development of new creative activities and initiatives across the department and organisation.

Responsibility for class planning, and collaboration with the team on class materials, class outcomes and other departmental issues.

Reporting to the Creative Learning Team Leader on class content, delivery and progress.

Effectively communicating with parents regarding participation and progress.

Participation and collaboration in departmental meetings and full staff meetings.

Building relationships with parents, families and participants, and having a good understanding of any additional support required.

Integrating with the full CentreStage team to ensure that the core values of CentreStage are delivered daily, allowing for the best customer service experience.

To be punctual, enthusiastic and well prepared for all classes, allowing prior set-up time for each activity.

Flexibility to work across evenings and weekends as required.
