We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Piano Teacher to join our music education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in piano performance and pedagogy, with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all ages and skill levels. As a Piano Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that foster musical development and a love for playing the piano.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement personalised lesson plans tailored to each student's needs and goals.
Teach piano techniques, music theory, sight-reading, and ear training.
Prepare students for performances, examinations, and competitions as appropriate.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
Create a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes creativity and self-expression.
Maintain open communication with students and their families regarding progress and any concerns.
Stay current with teaching methods, music trends, and educational resources.
Experience
Proven experience as a piano teacher or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong proficiency in piano performance across various genres of music.
Familiarity with different teaching methods and curricula for piano instruction.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
A degree in Music Education or related field is an advantage but not essential.
Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for teaching music are essential qualities for this role.
