Role Overview:
As an ESM Vocal Teacher, you will play a crucial role in our commitment to musical excellence. This position involves teaching individual voice lessons. The primary teaching days are Wednesday and Thursday from approximately 2 - 8.45pm. There may also be the possibility of additional days in the future. This position provides a fantastic opportunity to inspire and guide students of various ages.
Candidate Requirements:
Grade 8 in primary instrument and/or a degree in Music (or currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in music)
Minimum 1 year of teaching experience
Musical competence, instrument knowledge, and a passion for the teaching and learning process
Experience working with young children
Full PVG disclosure (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to teach a second instrument (desirable but not essential)
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting engaging group and individual lessons for students aged 3 and above
Tailoring lessons to meet individual students' needs and sourcing appropriate teaching materials
Teaching music theory, aural skills, and practical techniques
Staying current with examination requirements and preparing students for exams
Motivating and encouraging student progress
Assisting with annual concerts and ensuring student readiness
