Music school Rhythm Room seeks a passionate, enthusiastic piano teacher to join our team and teach at one of our primary schools in Hemel Hempstead. There is currently 1 hour of piano students at the school, with the time and day being flexible.
There is scope to increase the number of teaching hours at the school for the right candidate. With consistent, reliable teaching and a proactive approach to working alongside Rhythm Room and the school, there is potential to grow student numbers over time.
The ideal applicant is someone local and able to easily commute to Hemel Hempstead and the surrounding areas, with a good work ethic and is someone that works well in a team environment.
Due to there being insufficient public transport links to the school, the ideal applicant will have a driving licence and full use of a car.
Applicants will need to be able to read and teach music theory, experience with the Rock School, Trinity and ABRSM grading systems is a bonus.
We also work with a few other schools in the surrounding counties so a new member of the team will likely be given opportunities for peripatetic work in other schools.
