We're looking for a talented and enthusiastic
Peripatetic Piano Teacher
to deliver engaging piano lessons in primary schools.
You'll teach a mix of
small groups (up to 3 children)
and
one-to-one sessions
, helping pupils aged 5-11 develop confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of music.
The Role
Teach piano to children aged 5-11 in small groups and individual lessons
Create fun, structured lessons that build strong musical foundations
Support children in learning to read music and develop good technique
Keep simple progress notes and liaise with school staff as needed
Ensure all teaching follows safeguarding and child protection policies
About You
Confident pianist with experience teaching or tutoring children
Passionate about making music enjoyable and accessible
Reliable, organised, and professional
Able to adapt lessons for different abilities
Committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
