Location: Saltburn School of Music, Saltburn-by-the-Sea

Hours: Part-time, flexible schedule

Pay : 24 phr

With over 100 one-to-one students and nearly 300 people coming through our doors for our lessons, choir, and ensembles every week, we are a growing, creative community committed to making music accessible for all.

Role Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Piano Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students of varying ages and abilities, fostering their musical growth, and tailoring lessons to individual needs and goals.

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging one-to-one piano lessons. Teach a range of styles and adapt to students' interests. Prepare students for exams, performances, or personal progression (as appropriate). Maintain a supportive, professional, and encouraging learning environment.
Requirements:

Strong piano skills with teaching experience (essential). Music degree or equivalent professional experience (desirable). Excellent communication and organisational skills. A friendly, patient, and motivational teaching style. Enhanced DBS and PLI (or willingness to obtain)

A steady stream of new students We do all admin, invoicing, communication with parents and you get paid in full for any lessons missed by the students. Lessons are in blocks so you aren't sat around.
