Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring
Piano / Keyboard Tutor
to lead an after-schoolKeyboard Club
at a primary school inCheltenham
. This role gives children the opportunity to develop their musical skills, build confidence, and enjoy learning to play the keyboard in a supportive and creative environment.The club runs
once a week for 1 hour (after school, day to be confirmed - Mondays or Thursdays).
Key Responsibilities
Lead and engage small groups of primary-aged children in fun, structured keyboard sessions. Plan and deliver enjoyable, age-appropriate lessons that develop rhythm, coordination, and musical understanding. Encourage creativity, confidence, and a lifelong enjoyment of music. Maintain clear and friendly communication with parents and school staff about children's progress. Ensure instruments and teaching spaces are safe, organised, and ready for each session.
Experience & Skills
Experience teaching piano or keyboard to children in schools, clubs, or private settings. Ability to motivate and inspire children in a positive and engaging way. Strong communication skills in English for effective interaction with children, parents, and school staff. A background in music education, performance, or teaching is highly desirable.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 per week
Work Location: In person
