The Role
This role plays a key role in ensuring customer and wholesale orders are prepared accurately and efficiently. We are seeking a dedicated Order Picker and Packer to join our fulfilment team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment, this is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail to contribute to a fast-paced logistics environment.
Working closely with the Operations Manager, Merchandising Manager, and Production team, the Picker supports the smooth flow of goods through the warehouse and helps maintain correct stock levels across the business. Computer literacy and a keen attention to detail ensuring stock items are correctly identified during picking are essential as you will be working with our home scent, perfume and wellbeing products.
Key Responsibilities
Order Picking:
Accurately pick and prepare customer and wholesale orders to the required standard, ensuring items are correct, undamaged, and ready for packing.
Replenishment:
Pick and prepare replenishment orders in line with required stock levels, working with production specialist and merchandising mgr as necessary regarding stock levels and any shortages.
Stock Management Support:
Work with the Operations Manager and Merchandising Manager to help maintain accurate stock levels, highlighting any discrepancies, shortages, or damaged items.
Working with Production:
Book newly made products onto the MRP system in line with production outputs. Move finished goods into the correct stock shelving locations, ensuring items are clearly labelled and easily accessible.
Packing Shop Replenishment Orders:
Pack replenishment orders for retail shops, ensuring accuracy and timely dispatch.
Logistics Support:
Assist with general logistics tasks as required, packing goods for dispatch, supporting courier collections, or helping with stock movements.
Quality & Accuracy:
Ensure all picking and stock-handling tasks meet accuracy and quality standards, carrying out random spot checks for quality control.
Warehouse Organisation:
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace, supporting smooth movement of goods across the warehouse in conjunction with the Warehouse Supervisor.
Systems & Processes:
Use the MRP/warehouse management system, scanners, or manual records to log stock movements and update order status.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with warehouse, packing, production, and merchandising teams to ensure orders are completed on time and stock flows efficiently.
Health & Safety:
Follow all health and safety procedures, including safe lifting practices, equipment handling, and prompt reporting of hazards.
Other ad-hoc tasks relevant to the role or as required.
Skills & Experience
Previous picking experience is beneficial but not essential; full training will be provided.
Computer literate, able to use MRP or similar software is essential.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
Comfortable with manual handling and physically active work.
Working Style

Willing to learn and adapt to new systems, tools, or processes.
