Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Order Picker / van coordinator to join our logistics team, to keep our delivery service running smoothly. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate picking, of orders to and then get them dispatched in a timely manner.. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment. Familiarity within this role and of automotive car parts would be advantageous

Responsibilities

Accurately pick orders based on customer requirements and prepare them for dispatch Manage the route planning of all our delivery vehicles to get deliveries out to our customers in a timely manner. Utilise transportation management systems to track and manage order fulfilment. Perform data entry tasks related to inventory management and order processing. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely shipping of goods. Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency. Communicate effectively with colleagues regarding order status and inventory levels Operate warehouse equipment safely as required.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role Ability to motivate and lead a fleet of van/moped drivers Familiarity with mam software is advantageous Strong analysis skills to evaluate logistics Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with good phone etiquette. Ability to perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently. A proactive approach to problem-solving within a team environment. Attention to detail is essential for maintaining high standards in order accuracy.
