Summary

Join WEEE Scotland as a Packer in our warehouse located in Govan, Glasgow. In this vital role, you will help us manage electronic waste efficiently, supporting our mission to promote sustainability and resource conservation. Your efforts will contribute directly to reducing environmental impact and fostering responsible waste management.

Responsibilities

Handle materials efficiently to ensure smooth warehouse operations. Manage shipping and receiving processes accurately. Prepare products for dispatch through picking and packing. Maintain stock levels through stocking activities. Assist with load and unload tasks, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Use warehouse management systems to track inventory and shipments

Qualifications

Proven experience in warehouse operations or similar environment. Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is preferred. Strong understanding of materials handling and stock management. Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment. Physical fitness for heavy lifting and manual tasks. Excellent attention to detail for quality control. Good communication skills and team spirit. Knowledge of warehouse management systems is advantageous.
