Job Title: Transfer Driver

Location: Colchester

Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 - 18:30 (40 hours per week)

Salary: Starting at 112.30 per day

Holiday: 30 days per year (22 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays)

The Role:

We are seeking a reliable and proactive

Transfer Driver

to join our team. This role plays a vital part in the internal logistics of our operation, ensuring the smooth transfer of chilled and frozen products between departments and storage areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with frozen deliveries, including unloading baskets and pallets from lorries Book in completed products from the packing department Input product quantities into internal systems Sort and transfer stock to designated areas Conduct stock counts and report shortfalls to packing leads Transfer chilled products from storage to the picking room using a 7.5-tonne vehicle (C1 licence required) Report any discrepancies to the manager Work safely in both chilled and frozen environments (full PPE provided)

What We're Looking For:

A full, clean

C1 driving licence

is essential A strong work ethic and flexible approach to tasks Good attention to detail Basic numeracy and literacy skills Ability to manage time and workload efficiently within a small team Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and email communication

Additional Information:

This position requires working in temperature-controlled environments. Training and full protective equipment will be provided.
