Overview

We are seeking an Picking/Dispatch Assistant to join our busy Roastery Team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation in our dispatch team picking customer orders accurately and efficiently to ensure orders are fulfilled on time, in full. Working closely with other roastery staff and teams, you will have a can do attitude and be willing to help others when needed.

Responsibilities may include:

Handling product in line with food and other safety standards working to agreed Standard Operating Procedures. Picking orders timely and accurately. Possible support with packing customer orders with care and efficiency to ensure a great unboxing experience. Work collaboratively with other parts of the production facility including Roasting and Warehouse ensuring the timely flow of products. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping of work area and throughout the production facility in general. Support colleagues on ad hoc troubleshooting and problem solving, as well as when operational resourcing demands require to support other activities.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

Picking experience in a similar environment essential Able to work efficiently, calmly and with accuracy Attention to detail ensuring customers receive the right product or service on time Ability to work collaboratively with others treating colleagues and all stakeholders with respect and common courtesy Demonstrate support and care for others in the pursuit of the common goals for the business Communication skills including listening skills and a questioning style Self motivated
