At times the PICOP will have to deal with situations as they arise and use their skills and area knowledge to amended possessions to facilitate emergency works or minimise disruption should a possession be overrunning. At times the PICOP will be required to carry out office duties such as reviewing pre- possession plans and attending meetings at the direction of the delivery team, also assisting with the production of possession packs.About the role (External)About the rolexc2xb7 Establish and maintain good communications with, Signallers, Engineering Supervisors, Protection staff and drivers of Engineers Trains and On-Track Machines.xc2xb7 Monitor possession activity progress and report details to Route Control & Duty Operations Delivery Managers.xc2xb7 Maintain track safety competences as directed by the business unit.xc2xb7 Deputise for Operations Delivery Manager as and when required.xc2xb7 Must be willing to develop presentation and effective speaking skills in order to deliver briefing at pre possession meetings to a large number of people.xc2xb7 May be required to undertake On-Call as determined by the needs of the business.xc2xb7 Accountability through robust possession delivery.Qualifications/SkillsEssentially you should hold the following qualifications/competences:xc2xb7 PTSxc2xb7 IWA/COSSxc2xb7 PICOP/SPICOPxc2xb7 PSxc2xb7 Full UK Driving Licencexc2xb7 Strong Analytical Skillsxc2xb7 Computer literatexc2xb7 Good Area KnowledgeDesirablexc2xb7 Any AOD Competencexc2xb7 ESxc2xb7 Safety qualificationsHow to apply (External)Salary: xc2xa347,924 per annumClosing date: 8th May 2025. - Late applications will not be accepted.Click apply now to apply.You can visit for advice on accessibility support if you're unsure of the options available.
