Pig Stockperson

About Yorkwold Pig Pro -

Yorkwold Pigpro is part of the Dewhirst Farming group, which is a family run business based in East Yorkshire. Yorkwold was founded in 1972 and is a well invested, progressive pig production business, with 8,000 breeding sows housed across 12 farms along with 22 finishing farms.

Job Responsibilities -

Maintaining the health and welfare of all the pigs. On a daily basis you will be involved in the feeding, moving and handling of the pigs. Work with other members of the team in a safe and professional manner. Maintain a high level of housekeeping.

What we are looking for -

A valid UK driving license. A reliable, punctual, polite and honest team member. A team player. Ability to align to the company's Core Values. Ability to communicate in a positive, open and honest way at all times. Ability to work overtime as and when required.

Working Schedule -

Basic working week is 39 hours, Monday to Friday plus overtime as and when required. Alternative weekends are required and paid at overtime rate.
