Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Mini Piling rigs and equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Duties

Assemble and fit components according to specifications and engineering drawings. Install machinery and equipment in accordance with safety regulations and company standards. Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs as necessary. Collaborate with team members to complete projects within deadlines. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines. Document work performed and report any issues or discrepancies to management.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within the engineering or manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and machinery. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good physical fitness, as the role may require lifting heavy components. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. A relevant qualification in engineering or a related field is desirable but not essential.
