We are looking for a Pinoleum Blind Assembler to join us in our Pinoleum Department, working as part of a small, friendly team, based at our blind factory in Ashford, Kent. Conservatory Blinds Design & Manufacturing Ltd is a family owned, family run company, that has been trading for over 20 years. We pride ourselves on the quality and innovation of our products.
The role will include but not limited to the following:
Assembling blinds
Using drills, saws and cutting
Sewing
Stock management
Driving
Following correct Health & Safety procedures
Providing support to other departments
Full training will be given for this role, but the ideal candidate will have experience in working with tools in a production environment. Good special awareness will be an advantage. Candidate's will need a positive attitude, be reliable and eager to learn.
The hourly rate will be of 12.30 per hour, overtime may be available paid at time and a half over 40 hours.
Working hours are 5 days a week (Monday - Thursday 8 am-5 pm, 1-hour break; Friday 7 am-4 pm. 1 hour break). Additional hours maybe required due to the needs of the business.
Annual leave is 28 days, including bank holidays.
