experienced Pipe Layer Working Supervisor / Ganger

and an

experienced Skilled Operative

to join our expanding team delivering

water infrastructure and non Infra works for Anglian Water

.

Based in

Norfolk

, you will be working across the

East Anglia region

on clean water main installations, service connections, repairs, and associated civil works.

We are a specialist contractor in

water infrastructure

, delivering high-quality installation and commissioning works to the utilities sector. We are looking for motivated, experienced individuals who understand working on live water networks and delivering to utility specifications.

Pipe Layer Working Supervisor / Ganger - Key Responsibilities

Supervising and leading a gang on water main laying and service connection works Installation of new water mains, fittings, valves, hydrants, and chambers Coordination of excavation, pipe laying, jointing, testing, and reinstatement Ensuring works are delivered in line with Anglian Water standards and specifications Managing site safety, RAMS compliance, and toolbox talks Liaising with site management and subcontractors Recording daily progress, materials used, and as-built information Ensuring quality control and first-time right installation

Skilled Operative - Key Responsibilities

Excavation and reinstatement of trenches for water mains and services Laying and jointing water mains and fittings (PE, DI, PVC, etc.) Installation of ducts, pipes, chambers, and fittings Assisting with pressure testing, flushing, and commissioning works Supporting repairs on live water networks Operating small plant and tools (breakers, rollers, pumps, etc.) Maintaining site cleanliness and safety standards

Essential Requirements

Proven experience in

water main laying and service connections

CSCS card (essential) NRSWA (Street Works) qualification (preferred) Confined Space and EUSR Water Hygiene (advantageous) Experience working on utility contracts (Anglian Water or similar) Ability to read drawings and specifications Strong commitment to safety and quality Full UK driving licence (preferred)
