Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Pipelayers to join our construction team. The successful candidates will be responsible for laying and installing pipelines for various infrastructure projects. This role requires a strong understanding pipe lasers as well as experience with a range of tools and equipment. The ideal applicants will be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Duties

Lay, assemble, and install underground pipelines using appropriate techniques and tools Operate heavy machinery such as excavators to assist with trenching and pipeline placement Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialised machinery to complete tasks Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate installation Conduct inspections of pipelines for quality control and adherence to safety standards Perform maintenance on equipment Collaborate with other tradespeople Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment at all times

Skills

Proven experience with excavators, hand tools, and power tools Strong knowledge relevant to pipeline installation and maintenance experience is desirable for troubleshooting system issues Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials safely Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment Strong commitment to safety procedures and regulations
