Responsibilities:
Install, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems, including but not limited to valves, fittings, and related equipment.
Interpret and work from isometric drawings, blueprints, and specifications to plan and execute pipefitting tasks accurately.
Cut, thread, bend, and weld pipes using various tools and techniques while adhering to industry standards and regulations.
Conduct inspections and tests on piping systems to identify and resolve issues such as leaks, blockages, or faulty components.
Collaborate closely with other team members, including supervisors, engineers, and other tradespeople, to ensure the timely completion of assigned tasks.
Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental protocols, promoting a culture of safety compliance within the team.
Document all pipefitting activities, including work performed, materials used, and any pertinent information
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Pipefitter in industrial environments, preferably within the oil, gas, or related sectors.
Relevant pipefitting qualifications/certifications (such as NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) in pipefitting.
Comprehensive knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation techniques.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing project requirements.
