Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitters to join our team. We are a nationwide mechanical installer mainly in the process cooling industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in assembling and installing piping systems. This role will play a crucial role in ensuring that our piping systems are built to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Pay is bi-weekly hourly paid through CIS, rate is dependable on experience. Over night allowance and milage expenses are also paid.

Overtime is available.

This position calls for a somebody who is willing to work away from home most weeks.

Job description

Must be able to work in a team or on your own to conduct large and small pipework installations over the UK. Must be capable of working with thin wall (1.5 - 2mm) stainless steel pipe system Experience of pressfit (Mapress/Xpress) pipework is required. Experience with unistrut support system for pipe support. IPAF license preferable. CSCS or CCNSG required. Must have full driving licence. Must be able to work under own initiative.

Responsibilities

Assemble and install piping systems according to specifications and latest issued drawings. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks. Apply basic maths skills to measure, cut, and fit pipes accurately. Collaborate with other tradespeople and management to ensure seamless integration of piping systems within projects. Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Experience

Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Basic maths skills for precise measurements and calculations.
