A&P Falmouth - Pipefitters

Home to one of the world's largest natural deep-water harbours, A&P Falmouth's facility is one of the largest ship-repair complexes in the UK.


We are looking for Pipefitters to join our busy and talented team. If you have previous experience as a Pipefitter and enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced setting, we'd love to hear from you.

So, what will you do?

Install, repair and maintain piping systems onboard ships according to engineering specifications Fabrication and assemble pipes using specialised tools and techniques Conduct pressure tests and inspections to ensure integrity and safety of pipework installations and repair Prepare work areas, ensuring safety protocols are followed Maintain a safe and organised working environment

And what are we looking for?

A Level 3 apprenticeship in pipefitting or equivalent would be desirable Previous experience in a shipbuilding/marine/heavy industrial environment would be advantageous You'll need the ability to understand technical drawings You'll be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work You'll be absolutely committed to ensuring health and safety in your work You'll have excellent teamwork and communication skills
