Job Description

Our client is looking for a Pipeline Project Engineer for a permanent position, located in Aberdeen.

Role

To deliver effective pipeline and process services, achieving revenue and profit targets within budget and securing long term growth through service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Project management, reporting and financial control for all jobs and costs.
• Perform all types of pipeline related calculations.
• Prepare pipeline procedures and job programmes.
• Address technical challenges in order to deliver work scopes.
• Attend Client meetings and work in the Client\'s office as required.
• Manage all types of pipeline pre-commissioning operations.
• Prepare/review presentations for, and attend HAZID\'s and HIRA\'s.
• Preparation and delivery of pre-job/toolbox talks.
• Assist in the preparation of tenders.
• Report project changes to the Project Administrator to enable variation orders to be issued to Client.
• Mentor and coach junior members of the team.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• HND or degree qualified in a relevant mechanical engineering discipline. desirable
• Relevant experience within pipeline operations.
• Competent in MS Office applications.
• Experience in Visio and Microsoft Project. Desirable
• UKNS offshore survival and valid medical.

• Able to work proactively with minimum day to day supervision.
