We are seeking an experienced Piping Coordinator to support the successful delivery of industrial piping installation works up to 32" in diameter. This role provides a crucial link between the Piping Engineer, Construction Team, and Procurement, ensuring materials are correctly identified, available, and tracked throughout the project. The Piping Coordinator will manage spool inventory, monitor material status, and assist in planning work fronts to keep installation activities on schedule. A solid understanding of isometric drawings and field installation practices is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with the Piping Engineer to ensure all required materials are ordered, delivered, and available when needed.
Track and record all piping materials, spools, fittings, and supports received and issued on site.
Identify missing or delayed materials and liaise with relevant parties to resolve
Maintain up-to-date spool inventory and ensure materials are stored and tagged correctly for traceability.
Read and interpret isometric drawings to verify material requirements and work progress.
Work closely with the General Foreman and Supervisors to align materials with installation work fronts.
Support quality control and documentation of material certification and traceability.
Attend daily coordination meetings and provide material status updates to site management.
Promote safe material handling and compliance with company and client procedures.
Qualifications & Proven Experience
Proven experience in piping coordination, material control, or construction support within an industrial or oil & gas environment.
Ability to read and interpret piping isometrics, drawings, and material take-offs.
Strong understanding of site installation activities and sequencing.
Experience with material tracking systems or manual inventory control methods.
Effective communicator with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Safety-conscious and familiar with site HSE requirements.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or similar tools for maintaining tracking logs.
