Summary

We are seeking a Pitch Marshal to join our team at FACE in Blackburn. This role is vital in supporting our community events and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all participants. The Marshal will play a key part in helping us build a more connected and inclusive society.

Responsibilities

Open and close the school or community football pitch for scheduled matches. Ensure the pitch and surrounding areas are safe, clean, and prepared before and after games. Supervise access to the facility, welcoming teams, officials, and spectators. Monitor the use of equipment and facilities, reporting any damage or maintenance issues. Support the smooth running of football matches by maintaining order and assisting referees or event staff as required.
