Now, we're looking for an

experienced Pitched Roof Estimator

to join our Elliotts Premier Roofing team. While pitched roof estimating will be the main focus, experience in flat roof estimating would be a real advantage.

About the Role

As our Estimator, you will play a key role in securing and delivering roofing projects. Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing accurate, detailed pitched roof project estimates Supporting flat roof estimating where required Conducting site visits to measure, assess, and scope project requirements Producing and submitting tender submissions, quotations, and proposals Reading and interpreting roofing drawings, specifications, and contracts Calculating costs for materials, labour, and equipment hire Negotiating prices with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors Managing customer enquiries from first contact through to handover Working closely with the Senior Estimator and roofing team to ensure project success Reviewing and improving estimating processes and practices

About You

You'll bring solid experience as an Estimator in the roofing or wider construction industry, ideally specialising in pitched roofing with additional flat roofing knowledge. You are:

Skilled in pitched roof estimating, with proven industry experience Confident in flat roof estimating (preferred, but not essential) Comfortable interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contracts Highly organised with strong time management and attention to detail Skilled at negotiation and relationship building with clients, suppliers, and contractors Proficient in Microsoft Excel and industry-related software Clear and confident in both written and verbal communication
