Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and reliable

Pizza Assistant Chef

to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will assist in preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas using fresh ingredients and standardized recipes. Responsibilities include topping assembly, operating pizza ovens, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, works well under pressure, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is preferred but not required.

Duties

Help prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings. Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes. Accurately assemble pizzas with the correct ingredients and portion sizes. Operate and monitor pizza ovens to ensure proper cooking times and temperatures. Keep the kitchen area clean, organized, and sanitized. Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations. Assist in receiving, organizing, and rotating kitchen stock. Alert the chef or manager when supplies are low. Help prepare pizzas for dine-in, takeout, or delivery as per customer specifications. Ensure all food items meet quality and presentation standards. Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during busy hours. Communicate effectively with colleagues and management. Use kitchen equipment safely and properly. Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the supervisor.

Pay: 12.21-12.55 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
